As though it isn't bad enough that Hollywood is in a totally insane compulsion to poorly remake, reboot, and sequel anything it can get the rights to, there is the gwadawful SciFy channel. Scify is of course responsible for the horrific Sharknado movies.
The original Philadelphia Experiment was reasonably watchable scifi adventure about an attempt to make a battleship invisible. During the experiment, the ship became trapped in hyperspace and an Eldridge seaman played by Michael Pare and his buddy winds up in the present. There was a sequel where a modern stealth bomber is accidentally sent back in time to Nazi Germany, with catastrophic results.
Last night I accidently tuned in this Crapostrophy thinking it was the original. Instead of the goverment trying to find out what went wrong, we have a Megabeast mercenary wanting to kill everyone she can to cover up the mistake, even if doing so will destroy the world. Lord Voldemort, Darth Vader and Atilla the Hun would find this person way too extreme. Why Pare agreed to do this film is the greatest mystery of the whole movie. Viewers should avoid this at all cost. I don't know, maybe Battlefield Earth wasn't so bad after all.
